Where are you located?

A.I am located in Temecula / Murrieta California. (Just north of San Diego County)

Do you travel for Weddings and Events?

A.Absolutely, Yes! I love to travel and will voyage just about anywhere to capture your story. I do require travel expenses be provided for weddings and projects that are more than 100 miles from Temecula California.

How do you pronounce your name?

A."La-Kwee-Tah"

How much does it cost to work with you?

A.For weddings and special events my fees start at $1600. Elopements start at $400. For Portraits, Seniors, Maternity, Engagements, Family and Kids my fees start at $300 with a $100 print credit included.
However, if your requirements are "minimal", I do offer special rates depending on the circumstances. Please CONTACT ME to talk about pricing or to build a custom collection to best fit your needs.

Do you do Engagement Shoots?

A.Yes, I do! In addition to capturing great images that you can use towards pre-wedding activities, it allows us a chance to get more familiar with each other. Plus, it gives you the opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera.

What can we expect at our Engagement Portrait Session?

A.Your Engagement Session is a chance to capture unique aspects of your relationship and personalities in a fun and casual atmosphere. Rather than asking you to pose on a park bench or somewhere that means little to you, we'll brainstorm to find a location for your shoot that truly tells your story. Together, we'll find the perfect place!

What is required to book my wedding date?

A.A signed contract, 25% of your Photography Collection as a retainer, and happy vibes are all that's needed to guarantee your event date on our calendar!

How do we access all of our high-res edited images?

A.All Weddings will be edited in 4-6 weeks. All other sessions will be edited within 4 weeks. I will post your photos in an online gallery for you to preview and share with family and friends. I will include a pin# that allows access to download all of your edited images.

Can we print our images at the local drug store?

A.Yes of course! Keep in mind that these images won't be as high quality as prints you order directly from me. The labs I use are of the highest quality and prices are very competitive.

Do we need to pay for the rights to our photos?

A.Never. You have full rights to your images and are free to share, print, archive and use any way you choose.

Will you, Laquita, be our Wedding Day Photographer?

A.Yes, I am always your primary Photographer. I work closely with a trusted (and super talented) group of Second Shooters to make sure there are always two cameras capturing the most unique moments of your special day.

Can you recommend other Wedding Vendors for our Wedding Day?

A.Absolutely! I know many Wedding and Event Professionals in my area, and I'm constantly meeting amazing individuals and vendors each and every month. I am happy to provide you with contacts for other talented professionals who can help make your Wedding absolutely perfect!

Do you have liability insurance? My venue requires a certificate of insurance?

A.Yes, most definitely!!!! Please notify me at least 2 months in advance to allow ample time for the paperwork to be processed. If you contact me, I can coordinate the details with your venue.

How many images will I receive and do you edit all of my photos?

A.Yes I do! I edit everything and you will receive everything. The only images you will not ever see are duplicates and throwaways where someones eyes were closed or someone walked into the shot.

Do you offer Videography?

A.I do not. I specialize in photography and stay focused on my art form but I do know many Videographers and Cinematographers, of all budget levels that I can happily recommend.

Do we receive the raw files?

A.Raw unedited files are not available to view or purchase. It is part of my professional creativity to only deliver the best of the best.

Will you attend our rehearsal?

A.Generally no but I do offer an Add-On option if you want photography coverage.

Do you offer any payment plans?

A.Yes I do! I offer four payment options. First the pay in full option; 100% due at the time of signing the contract. This option comes with your choice of a large canvas print or acrylic wall art. The second option is the standard plan of 25% up front with the final 75% due 30 days prior to your wedding date. My third option is 25% up front with the remaining 75% split up in two payments due 30 days prior to your wedding date. The forth option is 25% up front with the remaining 75% split up into 4-5 installments all due 30 days prior to your wedding date. This forth option requires an additional $50 service charge. In the case that you require overtime on the day of your wedding, those fees are due after you return home from your honeymoon.

What happens if you are sick or cannot Photograph our Wedding?

A.Great question! Not to worry...you are covered! All of my team is 100% capable to photograph your Wedding Day. I always have a backup plan.

If our Wedding Day is running late will you stay later?

A.Absolutely! I have an overtime rate that we can implement upon your approval. I understand that things happen and we will do our best to accommodate but myself and my team have families and schedules to keep. I hope you understand.

Do we need to feed you and your team at the wedding?

A.Yes please! This is my favorite perk of shooting weddings lol. You do not need to feed us what you feed your guest but it is in our contract that we get fed; one meal should be vegetarian.

How much time do we need for photography?

A.This is not a numbers answer. A lot of factors play into your Wedding Day and the amount of time needed for photography. I cover this at our initial consultation and address it a few more times prior to your Wedding Day. In general I will say 30min. for details, 30-60min getting ready, 45-60min. for 1st Look and your couples photos, 45-60min. for the Wedding Party, 30-60min. for family shots, 30-60min. sunset photos...again there are a lot of factors to consider so there is no real answer without your Wedding details.
